Hackers override thermostats on thousands of French supermarket fridges and freezers
A cyber-attack remotely overrode temperature settings on thousands of freezers, fridges and chiller cabinets across French supermarkets, pushing them from about -27C to over 50C. Food spoiled in large quantities; whether youngsters or state sabotage were behind it is unclear.
