Russia hits Ukraine with missiles and drones despite local Oleshky ceasefire

Zelenskyy says Russia launched 16 ballistic missiles and more than 280 drones overnight, with at least 15 injured in Kyiv, and strikes later hit a major bridge in the capital. This came as a localised ceasefire took effect, with Russia halting strikes on Kherson to allow evacuations and aid deliveries to Oleshky. The leaders of Norway and Finland held a call with Putin, the first direct contact between European leaders and him in more than a year.
