Kherson ceasefire holds while Russian strikes continue elsewhere in Ukraine

A temporary ceasefire first arranged for Oleshky has been extended across the Kherson region, and Russia and Ukraine say no breaches have been reported. Evacuation preparations are under way in Oleshky. Elsewhere, Zelenskyy said Russia launched 16 ballistic missiles and more than 280 drones overnight on Tuesday, and a drone attack on Kharkiv forced elderly women and children to evacuate. On Wednesday, Putin said Russia is building its own Rassvet satellite network to support its military against Ukraine.
