Houthis claim six attacks on Saudi airports and oil facilities

Houthi forces announced six attacks on Saudi airports and oil facilities, with the claim reported early Friday. It follows talks in Tehran earlier this week between Iran and the Mecca pact countries. In Yemen, the UN says fighting has displaced more than 281,000 people since the beginning of August, and the siege of Taiz has entered its third week.

• The Houthi claim of six attacks on Saudi airports and oil facilities comes despite the Tehran talks.
• The UN says more than 281,000 people have been forced from their homes in Yemen since the beginning of August, and urges humanitarian access near Taiz.
• Prices in Taiz have doubled and families are down to basic goods, according to reports on Wednesday.
• On Tuesday, officials from Iran, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Pakistan agreed to continue talks on peace and security, while Saudi forces intercepted more Houthi missiles.
