Brazil summons Argentine diplomat over Flávio Bolsonaro's flight to the US

Brazil summoned an Argentine diplomat in Brasília, with the move threatening to strain relations between Presidents Lula and Milei. The summons follows Flávio Bolsonaro's flight to the United States after he lost Sunday's presidential election to Lula. US officials say President Trump ensured he could enter the country, while Trump says he will not take sides in the election but called it a disgrace.

Flávio Bolsonaro landed in Florida early on Wednesday and called himself the true president-elect of Brazil, after refusing to concede defeat to Lula.
He faces money laundering allegations and multiple criminal investigations in Brazil.
He left Guayaquil, Ecuador, for Miami after disappearing for over 24 hours following the vote and entering Argentina by land.
Trump's comments followed Bolsonaro's unsupported claim that the vote was stolen.
