UK resisted slavery reparations on Commonwealth summit agenda, Caribbean figure says
According to Ralph Gonsalves, British officials initially insisted reparations not be on the Commonwealth leaders' summit agenda in Antigua and Barbuda and warned Andy Burnham might skip it. Burnham has since agreed to structured dialogue on reparatory justice, though it remains off the formal agenda.
