Houthi blockade of Taiz leaves residents short of food, water and fuel

On Wednesday, reports said a monthlong Houthi blockade of Taiz is blocking food, water, fuel and medical supplies from reaching the city, prompting warnings of a catastrophe. On Tuesday, fighting between Houthi forces and Yemeni government troops intensified around Taiz and thousands fled. Yemen's interior minister also accused Iran's IRGC and Hezbollah of sending 21 experts to help the Houthis.
