Russian strike on Dnipro station kills 13 as local Oleshky truce holds and aid arrives

On Friday an aid convoy entered the besieged town of Oleshky as evacuations began, and Moscow and Kyiv have so far observed the six-day truce. Russia said it struck energy infrastructure in and around Kyiv, while Russian authorities said they intercepted more than 1,000 Ukrainian drones overnight and that an oil refinery was struck. On Wednesday a Russian drone hit a platform at a railway station in Dnipro, killing at least 13 people, and President Zelensky called it "horrific".

• The localized ceasefire, first planned for Oleshky residents, was extended across the Kherson region on Tuesday, and Russia and Ukraine said no breaches had been reported.
• Russia said more than 600 drones were launched towards Moscow overnight on Wednesday.
